The New York theater will also present a world premiere play by Crystal Finn in the coming year.
Fault Line Theatre will stage the off-Broadway world premieres of two plays in early 2014.
First up will be The Faire by Crystal Finn (Becoming Liv Ullmann). The play traces the lives of five Renaissance Faire performers in Northern California. The production will run from February 7-March 2 at New York Theatre Workshop (at 83 E 4th). Coartistic Director Aaron Rossini helms the show, with a cast that includes Jenny Seastone Stern (North Atlantic), Rachel Christopher, Amanda Sykes, Kelsey Kurz (The Merchant of Venice), and Grant R. Krause.
The Faire will be followed by Breathing Time, a new comedy drama by House of Cards creator Beau Willimon. The play follows a brother and sister, and a husband and wife over two days in New York City, and highlights the arbitrary yet indispensible connections between us all. Also directed by Rossini, the production will run from March 21-April 13 at Teatro IATI. The cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.
