Menzel will work with the organization as part of the Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund.
Tony winner Idina Menzel (If/Then) will join the Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund at Cantor Fitzgerald's annual Charity Day on September 11. The fund, which was established in honor of the late Fred Gabler, aids in sending underprivileged children to summer sleep-away camps.
Menzel, along with many other actors and performers, will join Cantor Fitzgerald’s licensed brokers to help them complete real telephone trades with customers. Each year, Cantor Fitzgerald commemorates those lost on 9/11 through its annual Charity Day, which was originally founded to raise money for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. Since its inception, the Cantor Fitzgerld Relief Fund has raised and distributed more than $280 million in financial support for the families of the 658 September 11 attack victims from Cantor Fitzgerald.
Menzel is the founder of the summer camp A Broader Way, which offers girls from urban communities an outlet for self-expression and creativity through arts-centered programs.
