The Notebook composer has a new album, For The Dreamers, which drops August 23.
Ingrid Michaelson, composer of The Notebook, will appear onstage at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre following the August 27 performance of the new Broadway musical to sing songs from her new album For the Dreamers, which is slated to be released August 23. The album is now available for pre-save on multiple streaming platforms.
For the Dreamers is Michaelson’s first full-length solo record since 2019.
The Notebook is based on Nicholas Sparks’s bestselling romance novel about the incredible love story between Allie and Noah — a story Allie is on the verge of forgetting as they approach the end of life.
Michaelson wrote the score, with a book by Bekah Brunstetter (This Is Us). The production is directed by Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen) and Schele Williams (The Wiz), with choreography by Katie Spelman (Associate Choreographer on Moulin Rouge! The Musical).
