Bianca Marroquin and Brandon Uranowitz appeared in tonight’s episode of the FX limited series.
Tonight's Fosse/Verdon found Bob (Sam Rockwell) being pulled in multiple directions.
Titled "All I Care About Is Love," the episode showed the director and choreographer frantically editing his film Lenny, a biopic about Lenny Bruce starring Dustin Hoffman (played by Burn This Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz), while rehearsing the new Broadway musical Chicago as a vehicle for Gwen (Michelle Williams) and Chita Rivera (current Chicago star Bianca Marroquin).
The year is 1974. The pressure (and the chain-smoking) becomes too much for Fosse's heart to bear. You know what comes next.
Written by Chicago-based playwright Ike Holter (Hit the Wall) and directed by TV and film veteran Minkie Spiro (Downton Abbey), episode 6 of Fosse/Verdon features a host of stage veterans, not just Uranowitz and Marroquin. Here are some of the performers who you can look out for: Catherine Combs (A View From the Bridge), Ashlie Atkinson (Fat Pig), Mylinda Hull (High Button Shoes), Rick Holmes (Junk), Anthony Rosenthal (Falsettos), and veteran Broadway dancers including Bahiyah Hibah, Paloma Garcia-Lee, Robyn Hurder, and Morgan Marcell, among others.
