
The Intiman Theatre has announced casting for its next two productions.
Hana Lass, Todd Jefferson Moore, and Galen Joseph Osier will star in Crime and Punishment (March 29-May 3), adapted by Marilyn Campbell and Curt Columbus from the novel by Dostoyevsky, and directed by Sheila Daniels.
Up next Sari Kettner will helm Herb Gardner’s Tony-winning comedy A Thousand Clowns (May 15-June 17), about the relationship between a free-living, middle-aged iconoclast and his nephew, a 12-year-old genius. The cast will feature Matthew Boston, Nick Robinson, Bradford Farwell, Timothy Hyland, Julie Jesneck, and David Pichette.
The season also includes William Shakespeare’s Othello (July 2-August 2), to be helmed by artistic director Bartlett Sher and starring Ato Essandoh in the title role; The Year of Magical Thinking (August 21-September 20), a play by Joan Didion based on her award-winning memoir; and Robert E. Sherwood’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Abe Lincoln in Illinois (October 2-November 15), to be directed by Daniels.
