Gyllenhaal returns to Broadway in the Sondheim-Lapine classic.
Jake Gyllenhaal is channeling his inner Georges Seurat in a new music video celebrating his upcoming run in Sunday in the Park With George. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the video, originally posted to Gyllenhaal's Facebook, takes us behind the scenes at the Hudson Theatre as he sings the Sondheim-Lapine classic "Finishing the Hat."
With Oscar nominee Gyllenhaal as Georges Seurat and Tony winner Annaleigh Ashford as Dot, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical will reopen the historic Hudson Theatre. The production will have a 10-week run, beginning February 11. Opening night is set for February 23, with the run scheduled to conclude April 23. Sarna Lapine directs.
