Citing "scheduling conflicts with the show’s star," the upcoming Broadway revival of Burn This, set to star Jake Gyllenhaal, has been postponed. According to production spokespeople, producers are hoping for the show to take shape during the 2017-18 season.

Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer, the production was to mark the official reopening of Ambassador Theatre Group’s historic Hudson Theatre. Performances were set to begin in February 2017. There is no word on whether Gyllenhaal is still attached to the future Broadway mounting of Lanford Wilson's iconic 1987 drama.

Ambassador Theatre Group is expected to announce a new tenant for the Hudson Theatre in the coming months.
