A pair of Tony winners throw down Broadway style on the ”Late Late Show”.
Last night's Late Late Show on CBS turned into a musical-theater duel to the death, executed in the form of a Broadway riff-off. Neil Patrick Harris interrupted James Corden in the middle of his show to challenge his fellow Tony winner and Tony host to a showtune smackdown — a face-off complete with Sondheim ballads, Merman-esque belting, and of course, the obligatory Hamilton singalong that makes all foes friends (except maybe Hamilton and Burr). Take a look at which songs made the cut, which stage veteran came out on top, and which competitor may be out of the Broadway biz for good.
