Tony winner Jason Alexander (Seinfeld, Jerome Robbins’ Broadway) and Drama Desk Award winner Tovah Feldshuh (Irena’s Vow) will star in The York Theatre Company’s production of the Richard Rodgers musical Two by Two. The show will be directed by Martin Charnin with music direction by Keith Levenson, both of Broadway’s Annie, and will play for only five performances from February 15-17.

Featuring a book by Peter Stone and lyrics by Martin Charnin, Two by Two has one of legendary composer Richard Rodgers’ least known scores. It is the tale of Noah and the Ark, adapted from Clifford Odets’ play The Flowering Peach and retold with Noah and his family characterized in modern Jewish vernacular.

The production will be staged as part of The York Theatre Company’s Musicals in Mufti series, which presents musical theater in a simply-staged, book-in-hand concert format.
