Jordan stars with Anna Kendrick in Richard LaGravenese’s film of the acclaimed musical.
Richard LaGravenese's film version of Jason Robert Brown's acclaimed musical The Last Five Years had its New York premiere on Monday, February 9, at the Minetta Lane Theatre, where the original production of the stage version was performed in 2002.
Written for the screen and directed by Academy Award nominee LaGravenese (The Bridges of Madison County, The Fisher King), The Last Five Years stars Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan as Jamie and Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick as Cathy, a couple whose relationship is explored over the course of five years. The film also features cameo appearances from Last Five Years veterans Sherie Rene Scott and Betsy Wolfe, writer Brown, album/film producer Kurt Deutsch, and Jordan's wife, Ashley Spencer.
The Last Five Years is presented by RADiUS-TWC, Sh-K-Boom Entertainment, and Lucky Monkey Pictures. It hits select screens and Video-on-Demand on February 13. Check out photos from the starry premiere below.
