Alan Cumming, Ingrid Michaelson, and others are also set for Criss’s annual music festival.
Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (Supergirl, Newsies) has been added to the third annual Elsie Fest lineup. Jordan joins previously announced headliners Alan Cumming (Cabaret), Lea Michele (Glee, Spring Awakening), and Darren Criss (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) as well as special guest performers, including platinum-selling recording artist Ingrid Michaelson (The Great Comet) and Norm Lewis (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street).
Hosted by Z100 D.J. Elvis Duran, the event will take place at Central Park SummerStage on Sunday, October 8. The one-day outdoor music festival is cofounded and executive produced by Criss.
Established in 2015 by Criss, talent manager Ricky Rollins, and Broadway producer and Jujamcyn Theaters president Jordan Roth, Elsie Fest is described in a press release as a celebration of "the stars and songs from the stage and screen, giving festivalgoers a unique experience to their favorite musicals."
