Broadway stars will perform the music of Michael Mott at the Green Room 42 to benefit the Actors Fund.
The Green Room 42 will present Michael Mott & Friends on June 16 at 7pm. The event will benefit the Actors Fund and celebrate songwriter Michael Mott's original pop, dance, and theater music.
Guest vocalists will include Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (CW's Supergirl, Newsies), Matt Doyle (CW's Gossip Girl, War Horse), Ashley Spencer (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Anastacia McCleskey (Waitress), Kyle Taylor Parker (NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live), Jacqueline Petroccia (Sweeney Todd), Nichole Turner (Jerry Springer, The Opera), Lindsay Rider (American Idol), Marisa Dargahi (Les Misérables), Andrew Swackhammer (Starbird & The Phoenix), and Lauren Devine (Grease). The show features Mott at the piano with a five-piece band.
Michael's debut album, Where the Sky Ends, is a compilation of his original theater, jazz, and pop music performed by Broadway stars including Justin Guarini, Zachary Levi, Sierra Boggess, Laura Osnes, Jeremy Jordan, among others. His follow-up studio album, Abandoned Heart, was released in 2017 by Broadway Records.
