Jeremy Jordan, Sierra Boggess, Steven Pasquale, and More Join New York Pops Season

Broadway stars will take part in the 2015-16 lineup at Carnegie Hall.

A host of Broadway stars is set to join music director Steven Reineke and the New York Pops for their 2015-16 season lineup of concerts at Carnegie Hall.

My Favorite Things: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein will be the first concert of the season on Friday, October 9. The evening's guest artists will include Sierra Boggess (It Shoulda Been You) and Steven Pasquale (The Bridges of Madison County). On Friday, March 11, Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (The Last Five Years) and Betsy Wolfe (Bullets Over Broadway) will perform with the orchestra in 42nd on 57th: Broadway Today, an evening of modern musical theater hits.

Additional New York Pops performances at Carnegie Hall next season include Sophisticated Ladies on Friday, November 13, featuring Tony nominee Montego Glover (It Shoulda Been You), Capathia Jenkins (Newsies), and Sy Smith (American Idol), celebrating the centennial of Billie Holiday’s birth, among other groundbreaking American musical icons; It’s Christmas Time in the City on Friday, December 18, and Saturday, December 19, featuring Tony nominee Stephanie J. Block (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Tony nominee Brian d’Arcy James (Something Rotten!), and Essential Voices USA; and Lights, Camera, Action: Spielberg and Williams on Friday, April 8, honoring the legendary collaborations between Academy Award winners Steven Spielberg and John Williams.

"We are thrilled to announce the lineup for The New York Pops 2015-2016 season," says Reineke. "Our orchestra is looking forward to playing host to some incredible artists. I am excited to be able to offer such a wonderful variety of concerts for our 33rd season, and I’m eagerly anticipating another memorable year."
