Tony Award nominee Joanne Camp (The Heidi Chronicles) will lead the cast of the Pearl Theatre Company‘s world premiere production of And Away We Go, written by Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally. The production will run April 19-May 19.

Written expressly for The Pearl, And Away We Go time travels from backstage in ancient Athens to a rehearsal at London’s Globe with several unlikely stops along the way.

In addition to Camp, the cast will feature Sean McNall, Dominic Cuskern, Rachel Botchan, Robin Leslie Brown, and Stanley Bahorek.

McNally’s new play, Golden Age, is currently in previews at Manhattan Theatre Club-Stage 1. His many works include Master Class, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Love! Valour! Compassion!, The Lisbon Traviata, The Ritz, as well as the books of the musicals Ragtime and The Full Monty.
