Wicked novelist Gregory Maguire and Off-Broadway favorite Joe Iconis are set to take part in SMITH Magazine‘s next edition of Six-Word Memoirs, to be held October 4 at 92YTribeca.
The theme of the evening will be “Let Me in You Narrative Whore,” and feature the performers creating a six-minute backstory about the creative life.
The line-up also includes Boston Globe Pulitzer Prize-winning film critic Wesley Morrsi, humorist Colin Nissan, former Hunter S. Thompson assistant Cheryl Della Pietra, Gallery Books Editor-at-Large Tricia Boczkowski, and sex educator and reproductive rights advocate Twanna A. Hines, aka Funky Brown Chick.
