John Malkovich to Direct Les Liaisons Dangereuses for Shakespeare Theatre Company

The Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced five presentations from abroad that will be added to its 2012-2013 STC Presents Series.

The series will include The National Theatre of Scotland’s Black Watch (September 19-October 7), and The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart (November 14-December 9) by David Grieg.

Emmy Award winner and Oscar nominee John Malkovich will direct the Paris-based Théâtre de l’Atelier’s production of the French language version of Christopher Hampton’s Les Liaisons Dangereuses (December 6-9).

STC will also present Tim Crouch’s one-man plays I, Peaseblossom and I, Malvolio, which tell the stories of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Twelfth Night, January 23-26.
