The George Street Playhouse Annual Gala Benefit is set to take place May 3 at the Heldrich. The evening will include cocktails and a silent auction, followed by a dinner, special remarks, and a cabaret performance.

Former Governor Thomas H. Kean will present the Thomas H. Kean Arts Advocacy Award to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital CEO Stephen K. Jones. The Inaugural Arthur Laurents Award for Distinguished Artistic Achievement will be awarded to actor, producer, and philanthropist Marlo Thomas.

Scheduled speakers include Kean, gala committee chairman Kenneth Fisher, board chairman George Wolansky Jr., and artistic director David Saint.

The evening's list of planned attendees features Broadway favorites John Tartaglia, Mary Testa, Dee Hoty, Mark Linn-Baker, and more.
