John Turturro in New Master Builder Part of BAM’s 2013 Season

BAM has announced its Winter/Spring 2013 programming.

Theatrical highlights include the U.S. premiere of The Suit, a drama about troubled relationship in 1950s Johannesburg, adapted and directed by Peter Brook, Marie-Hélène Estienne, and Franck Krawczyk and featuring actors from Theatre des Bouffes de Nord (January 17-February 2, Harvey Theater), and The Tectonic Theater Project’s The Laramie Cycle, directed by Moisés Kaufman and Leigh Fondakowski (Harvey Theater, February 12-24).

Also on tap are the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Julius Caesar, directed by Gregory Doran (Harvey Theater, April 10-28), and a new production of Henrik Ibsen’s The Master Builder starring John Turturro and directed by Andrei Belgrader (Harvey Theater, May 12-June 9).

Other scheduled performers include The Trisha Brown Dance Company, Sufjan Stevens, William Christie and Les Arts Florissants, Sweet Honey in the Rock, and The Royal Ballet of Cambodia.
