Jon Boydon and Eugene McCoy will join the West End cast of Jersey Boys in the roles of Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi, respectively, as the award-winning musical celebrates its second London birthday at the Prince Edward Theatre on March 18.
The musical tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, and includes the hits ‘Beggin’ ‘Sherry’, ‘Walk Like A Man’, ‘December, 1963 (Oh What a Night)’, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, ‘My Eyes Adored You’, ‘Let’s Hang On (To What We’ve Got)’, ‘Bye Bye Baby’, ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, ‘Working My Way Back to You’, ‘Fallen Angel’, ‘Rag Doll,’ and ‘Who Loves You’.
The London cast also stars Ryan Molloy as Frankie Valli and Stephen Ashfield as Bob Gaudio, with Scott Monello as the alternate Frankie Valli. The cast also includes Simon Adkins as Bob Crewe, Jade Westaby as Mary Delgado, Mark Carroll as Donnie/Knuckles, Jye Frasca as Joe Pesci, Charlie Bull as Lorraine, Michelle Francis as Francine, Tee Jaye as Barry, Stuart Milligan as Gyp Decarlo, Joseph Prouse as Norm Waxman, and James Winter as Hank, along with Michael Conway, Ben Evans, Lucinda Gill, Mark Isherwood, Paul Iveson, Zara Warren and Ben Wheeler.
As on Broadway, the show features direction by Des McAnuff, with choreography by Sergio Trujillo, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Howell Binkely, sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, and projection design by Michael Clark. The musical features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio, and lyrics by Bob Crewe.
