The new play will have its premiere at Lincoln Center Theater.
Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother) and Elizabeth Reaser (The Money Shot) will head the cast of Richard Greenberg's new play The Babylon Line, set to play Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater this fall. Performances begin November 10, with opening night set for December 5.
Set in 1967, the work follows a writer from Greenwich Village (Radnor) who commutes to Levittown to teach a writing class. As his students discover the power of storytelling, one special student (Reaser) reawakens his own artistic impulses. Terry Kinney directs.
Radnor and Reaser will be joined by Tony winners Randy Graff and Frank Wood, as well as Maddie Corman, Julie Halston, and Michael Oberholtzer. The production will have sets by Richard Hoover, costumes by Sarah J. Holden, lighting by David Weiner, and sound by Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen.
