Linda Lavin celebrated the opening night of her cabaret act at 54 Below on Monday, September 17. Billy Stritch served as musical director, with musicians including Lavin’s husband, Steve Bakunas on drums, and Aaron Weinstein on violin.
Among the guests were Joy Behar, Carol Burnett, Donna Lynne Champlin,John Davidson, Penny Fuller, Sheldon Harnick, Jayne Houdyshell, Michael Mayer, Harold Prince, Nicky Silver, and the Nunziata Brothers. Also present that night was Eden Espinosa who performed an earlier set at 54 Below.
