Joyce DeWitt and Tab Hunter will co-star in the Judson Theatre Company’s production of A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters, to run January 19-22 at the Owens Auditorium in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Daniel Haley will direct the production.
Gurney’s play charts the 50-year romance between Andrew and Melissa through their cards, notes, and letters they write to one another.
DeWitt recently starred off-Broadway in Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage!. Among her other stage credits are the Canadian premieres of Dinner With Friends and The Last Night of Ballyhoo. She is perhaps best known for her role as Janet Wood in ABC’s Three’s Company.
Hunter starred Broadway in Tennessee Williams’ The Milk Train Doesn’t Stop Here Anymore, opposite Tallulah Bankhead. Among his many screen credits are Damn Yankee, Battle Cry, The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, The Pleasure of His Company, and Polyester.
