Julian Ovenden’s If You Stay CD Set for April 23 Release

Julian Ovenden’s debut solo CD If You Stay will be released by Decca on April 23. Simon Franglen has produced the recording.

The 13-track album will feature a combination of original material and covers. Among the selections on the disc will be “Up, Up and Away,” “It Hurts to Say Goodbye,” and “When She Loved Me” (heard in the film Toy Story) as well as the title track, Ovenden’s take on the French classic: ‘Ne Me Quitte Pas.’

Ovenden’s stage credits include Death Takes a Holiday in New York and Merrily We Roll Along, Grand Hotel, and Marguerite in the U.K.
