The lineup of authors who will take part in the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books has been announced. The event will run April 21-22 at the University of Southern California.
Among the highlights of the Festival will be an appearance by Julie Andrews who will be celebrating her book The Very Fairy Princess Here Comes the Flower Girl, Florence Henderson, who will be appearing in conjunction with the publication of her memoir, Life Is Not a Stage: From Broadway Baby to a Lovely Lady and Beyond, and Nicholas Hammond, Heather Menzies, Duane Chase, Kym Karath, who will be discussing The Sound of Music Family Scrapbook.
In addition to readings and book signings, the Festival include performances by groups such as Culture Clash and Folklorico; and panel discussions, including “Reporting the Arts” with Anne-Marie O’Connor, RJ Smith and Joe Woodward, moderated by Orli Low.
