The hit jukebox musical will perform in cities across North America.
The producers of Broadway’s & Juliet have announced plans to launch a multi-year tour in fall 2024. The tour will make stops across North America, including engagements in Charlotte, North Carolina; Los Angeles; San Francisco; and Washington, DC in its first year.
& Juliet features songs by Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Max Martin, a book by Emmy-winning Schitt’s Creek writer David West Read, direction by Luke Sheppard, and choreography by Emmy winner Jennifer Weber. The pop musical, which opened on Broadway in November 2022 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, imagines what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms.
The Broadway cast of & Juliet stars Lorna Courtney in the title role, with Tony winner Paulo Szot as Lance, Betsy Wolfe as Anne Hathaway, Tony nominee Stark Sands as Shakespeare, Justin David Sullivan as May, Melanie La Barrie as Nurse (reprising the role she originated in the West End), Ben Jackson Walker as Romeo, and Philippe Arroyo as Francois.
A full tour route and casting will be announced at a later date.
