”17 Again” features a score by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner and book by Marco Pennette.
Casting has been announced for the upcoming concert presentations of 17 Again, which will take place March 3 at Feinstein's/54 Below as part of the New Musicals at 54 series.
The show will feature a cast of Broadway veterans that includes Tony nominee Kate Baldwin (Big Fish), Matt Doyle (War Horse), Ann Harada (Cinderella), F. Michael Haynie (Holler If Ya Hear Me), Samantha Hill (Les Misérables), Elizabeth Judd (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark), Derek Klena (The Bridges of Madison County), Raymond J. Lee (Honeymoon in Vegas), Krysta Rodriguez (Spring Awakening), Steve Rosen (Guys and Dolls), Sydney Shepherd (First Date), and Ryan Vasquez (Waitress) along with Anthony Chatmon and more to be announced.
17 Again features a score by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner (First Date) and book by Marco Pennette (Ugly Betty). The musical has been developed in readings directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray) and is being produced by Warner Brothers Theatre Ventures.
Based on the 2009 film starring Zac Efron and Matthew Perry, 17 Again tells the story of a married 35-year-old man who fears his best days have passed him by, until he mysteriously wakes up as a 17-year-old high school basketball star with the chance to rewrite the future he believes he was meant to have.
