Emmy Award winner Kathy Griffin, who appeared on Broadway in Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony, will headline this year’s Best in Drag Show, to be presented at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on October 7.
Griffin will perform an opening monologue and then join the celebrity judges panel which also includes Oscar nominee and stage veteran Melanie Griffith, Olympic Gold medalist and actor Greg Louganis, and Tony Award winner and television star Sara Ramirez.
Previously announced judges include Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin, Melora Hardin, Kathy Kinney and Judge Alex Ferrer.
Patrick Rush will direct and choreograph the event, which is a fundraiser for Aid for AIDS.
