Stage and screen star Kathy Najimy will play a police officer investigating an attack on Wisteria Lane on an upcoming episode of Desperate Housewives, according to a report on the website for TVGuide. The episode is scheduled to air in October.
Najimy’s stage credits include The Kathy and Mo Show, Parallel Lives and Dirty Blonde. On screen she’s been seen in movies such as Sister Act, Jeffrey, The Wedding Planner, and Soapdish. In addition she’s the voice of Peggy Hill on the animated show King of the Hill.
