Kelli O'Hara, Chita Rivera, and Jimmi Simpson Added to Other Josh Cohen Album

Two-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera (The Visit), Tony winner Kelli O'Hara (The King and I), and Emmy-nominated Westworld star Jimmi Simpson have joined the lineup of special guest stars on Yellow Sound Label's special recording of David Rossmer and Steve Rosen's musical The Other Josh Cohen, which opens at the Westside Theatre this fall. Produced by Michael Croiter, the album will be released for digital download on iTunes this Friday, October 19, and will be available on Amazon and in stores nationwide on October 22.

On the album, Rossmer and Rosen sing the title roles alongside guest stars Rivera, O'Hara, Simpson, and the following previously announced performers: Hank Azaria, two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster, Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart, Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James, Tony nominee Richard Kind, Tony nominee Jenn Colella, Caissie Levy, James Roday, Tony winner Lindsay Mendez, Tony nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger, Tony nominee John Ellison Conlee, Sara Chase, Sarah Bishop, E. Clayton Cornelius, Jeremy Geller, Marissa Rosen, and Rashidra Scott.

With book, music, and lyrics by Rossmer and Rosen, The Other Josh Cohen tells the story of Josh Cohen, single and broke, whose apartment has been robbed of everything but a Neil Diamond CD. But his luck takes a turn when a mysterious envelope arrives that changes his life. Directed by Hunter Foster, previews will begin October 26, with opening night set for November 12. The limited run is scheduled to conclude on February 24.
