The second annual Broadway convention will take over the Jacob Javits Center.
BroadwayCon, a three-day fan-fest for theatergoers and Broadway enthusiasts, has announced plans for its second year of events.
The event will be held January 27-29, 2017, at New York City's Jacob Javits Center, with more than 15,000 theater fans expected to attend. The inaugural event was held the New York Hilton Hotel Midtown, and sold out with 5,000 attendees. Tickets for BroadwayCon 2017 go on pre-sale to returning attendees April 8 and to the general public April 11. Tickets, special hotel rates, and more information is available at BroadwayCon.com.
BroadwayCon 2017 will feature programming with BroadwayCon cofounder Anthony Rapp, Kelli O’Hara, Cynthia Nixon, Christopher Jackson, Christine Ebersole, Santino Fontana, Norm Lewis, Ana Gasteyer, LaChanze, Des McAnuff, Seth Rudetsky, Blake Ross, Jonathan Groff, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Lena Hall, Lisa Howard, Lorin Latarro, Laura Osnes, Lesli Margherita, Alex Brightman, Jenn Colella, Christopher Gattelli, Marc Kudish, Geneva Carr, Beowulf Boritt, Kathleen Marshall, Max von Essen, and many more to be announced over the coming months.
