Kinky Boots Celebrates Two Years on Broadway

The Tony-winning Broadway musical Kinky Boots celebrated its two-year anniversary on the Great White Way on Saturday, April 4, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, where it has played 835 performances. The show's cast and creative team marked the event with a special cake.

Featuring a Tony-winning score by Cyndi Lauper and a book by Harvey Fierstein, Kinky Boots tells the story of Charlie Price, the owner of a failing shoe factory, who realizes that a sassy drag queen named Lola has the key to the business' success. The current cast of Kinky Boots includes Kyle Taylor Parker, Andy Kelso, Jeanna de Waal, Daniel Stewart Sherman, Cortney Wolfson, and more.
