Kinky Boots Stars Billy Porter, Stark Sands, and Annaleigh Ashford Receive Sardi’s Caricatures

Kinky Boots stars Billy Porter, Stark Sands, and Annaleigh Ashford, along with their director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell, received caricatures for the walls of the famed theater-district eatery Sardi’s before their matinee performance on December 11.

With a Tony-winning score by Cyndi Lauper (who received her own caricature earlier this year) and a book by Harvey Fierstein, Kinky Boots tells the story of Charlie Price (Sands), the owner of a failing shoe factory, who realizes that a sassy drag queen named Lola (Porter) has the key to the business’ success.
