Linney and Nixon star on Broadway in ”The Little Foxes”.
Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon celebrated their run in Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway revival of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes with their new Sardi's portraits on June 29. The production, directed by Daniel Sullivan, runs through July 2 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre
In the production, Linney and Nixon alternate in the roles of Regina Giddens and Birdie Hubbard, playing the roles in repertory and appearing opposite each other at each performance. For their work, Linney and Nixon received Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards, with Nixon also receiving the 2017 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
