The American Pops Orchestra event will take place at George Washington University.
The American Pops Orchestra will pay tribute to the music of Barbra Streisand on Friday, January 13, at George Washington University’s Lisner Auditorium.
Don't Rain on My Parade: 75 Years of Barbra Streisand will be conducted by Maestro Luke Frazier, and will feature a host of Broadway's best including Laura Osnes (Bandstand), Amber Iman (Shuffle Along), Lindsay Mendez (Significant Other), singers Will and Anthony Nunziata, and more. The show is directed by Nathan Brewer.
In addition to the regular concerts of the season, Frazier and the American Pops Orchestra recently performed at the Hispanic Heritage Awards in September, which was nationally broadcast on PBS. They will appear at the Beacon Prize, given by Human Rights First to honor commitment to the American ideals of freedom and human dignity, and the DC Standing Ovation Awards, celebrating excellence in the DC Public Schools.
