New video and photos have been released of Lauren Molina (Rock of Ages) and Bri Sudia (Far From Heaven) in Mary Zimmerman's production of Wonderful Town at the Goodman Theatre. The show is set to run from September 10-October 16.
With a score by Leonard Bernstein, Betty Comden, and Adolph Green, and a book by Joseph Fields and Jerome Chodorov, Wonderful Town will feature an 18-piece orchestra led by musical director Doug Peck and associate musical director/conductor Ben Johnson. Molina and Sudia will take on the leading roles of sisters Eileen and Ruth.
They are joined by Karl Hamilton as Robert Baker, Wade Elkins as Frank Lippencott, Steven Strafford as Chick Clar, Jordan Brown (Wreck), Amy J. Carle (Mrs. Wade), Matt DeCaro (Appopolous), Christina Hall (Violet), James Earl Jones II (Speedy Valenti), Sadieh Rifai (Helen), and George Andrew Wolff (Lonigan). Ensemble members include Nathaniel Braga, Ariana Cappuccitti, Sherriese Hamilton, Aaron Holland, Mark David Kaplan, Tiffany Krause, Kent M. Lewis, Russell Mernagh, Jeff Parker, Jody Reynard, Todd Rhoades, Lainie Sakakura, Ian Saunders, and Erica Stephan.
The creative team also includes Todd Rosenthal (sets), Ana Kuzmanic (costumes), T.J. Gerckens (lights), and Ray Nardelli (sound).
