Leah Hocking Joins The Mad Ones at 59E59 Theaters

Leah Hocking, a Broadway veteran who has starred in Hairspray, All Shook Up, and Billy Elliott: The Musical, among others, will round out the cast of The Mad Ones, the new Kait Kerrigan-Brian Lowdermilk musical to make its New York premiere November 7-December 17 at 59E59 Theaters.

Hocking will play the role of Beverly Brown, the mother of Samantha Brown (Krystina Alabado). Emma Hunton and Ben Fankhauser will also star.

Directed by Stephen Brackett, The Mad Ones immerses audiences in the complex inner life of Samantha Brown — a young woman on the brink of change. Sitting in her parent's driveway, Samantha faces a choice: Will she follow in her mother's footsteps, or take the dare of her impetuous best friend and chart a new path?
