Len Cariou, Stephen Bogardus, and More Set for Readings at York Theatre Company

The York Theatre Company will present the staged readings of the new musicals Dutch Master and The White Witch of Rosehall at its home at Saint Peter’s on March 8 and 9.

Dutch Master, with music and lyrics by Jeffrey Stock and book by Marc Acito, will feature Stephen Bogardus, Len Cariou, Matt Castle, and Storm Large. The White Witch of Rose Hall, with music by Balint Varga and book and lyrics by Bryan D. Leys will feature Richard Binder, Patrice Bell, Amy Bodnar, Kaylee Bugg, Adam Daveline, Aja Downing, Kenny M. Green, Michael Kirk Lane, Carl-Michael Ogle, Christopher Pitman, and Charles Valentino.

The York’s Developmental Reading Series presents over 30 readings and workshops of new musicals by emerging and established authors throughout the year, a vital part of the writing process. The strong commitment to developing new work is an important part of what makes the York unique in the musical theatre community.
