Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ethel Merman Have More Than Just a Birthday in Common

Today, January 16, is the birthday of musical-theater favorites Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights), who is 34, and Ethel Merman (Gypsy), who would be 106. To honor two of our favorite Broadway stars, we're sharing some photos we created last year of the two of them celebrating together (as they clearly would be if The Merm was with us today).
