Lincoln Center Theater’s Platform Series, a forum for public discussion between artists and audience members, will host a conversation between Oslo playwright and director J.T. Rogers and Bartlett Sher on July 6 at 6pm. The production begins performances June 16 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater in advance of a July 11 opening.

Described as a darkly comic epic, Oslo tells the story of how Norwegian diplomat Mona Juul and her husband, social scientist Terje Rød-Larsen, planned and orchestrated top-secret, high-level meetings between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, which culminated in the signing of the historic 1993 Oslo Accords.

Directed by Tony winner Sher (Fiddler on the Roof), the cast includes Michael Aronov (Golden Boy), Adam Dannheisser (Fiddler on the Roof), two-time Tony winner Jennifer Ehle (The Coast of Utopia), Tony nominee Daniel Jenkins (Golden Boy), Dariush Kashani (The Invisible Hand), Tony winner Jefferson Mays (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Daniel Oreskes (The Miracle Worker), Henny Russell (The Audience), Joseph Siravo (The Light in the Piazza), and T. Ryder Smith (War Horse).

The production has sets by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Donald Holder, and sound by Peter John Still.
