The new play by the author of ”Bad Jews” will have its world premiere at Roundabout Theatre Company’s Laura Pels Theatre.
Roundabout Theatre Company has announced casting for the upcoming world premiere of Joshua Harmon’s Significant Other, directed by Trip Cullman at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. The production will begin previews on May 21, with opening night set for June 18. The limited engagement will end on August 16.
Significant Other explores single life in the city. Jordan Berman would love to be in love, but until he finds Mr. Right, he spends his nights with his trio of close girlfriends. As their evenings turn into bachelorette parties, Jordan finds that supporting the ones you love can be just as impossible as finding love itself.
The production will feature Barbara Barrie (Helene), John Behlmann (Will, Conrad, Tony), Sas Goldberg (Kiki), Gideon Glick (Jordan), Lindsay Mendez (Laura), Carra Patterson (Vanessa), and Luke Smith (Gideon, Evan, Roger).
Creative team information will be announced in the coming months.
