Longtime Mufasa Alton Fitzgerald White to Bring The Lion King to CBS' Code Black

The Lion King will be featured on tonight’s episode of CBS drama Code Black. The episode features Alton Fitzgerald White, who has played a record-breaking 4,000 performances as Mufasa, as well as eight members of The Lion King North American Tour. See a clip from the episode below.

Code Black stars Tony winner Marcia Gay Harden (God of Carnage) as Dr. Leanne "Daddy" Rorish, ER Residency Director at "the busiest, most notorious ER in the nation." In tonight's episode, when the lead actor of the tour of The Lion King arrives at the hospital with a throat infection, Leanne gives him a diagnosis that puts both his career and life in jeopardy.
