Tony nominees Mare Winningham and Peter Friedman star in Greg Pierce’s new drama.
Her Requiem, written by Greg Pierce and directed by Kate Whoriskey, is now in performances at Lincoln Center's Claire Tow Theater.
The new drama tells the story of Caitlin, a young woman who takes her senior year of high school off to compose a full-scale requiem. Inspired by her dedication, her father becomes obsessed with requiems and the people who love them, while her mother becomes concerned about Caitlin's isolation from everyone aside from her music teacher. They must confront the fact that their daughter's project is destroying their family.
The company is made up of Naian González Norvind as Caitlin, alongside Tony nominee Peter Friedman (The Affair) as Dean, her father, and Tony nominee Mare Winningham (Casa Valentina) as Allison, her mother. The cast also includes Keilly McQuail, Robbie Collier Sublett, and Joyce Van Patten.
The production opens February 22 and will run through March 20.
