Look Inside Jelly's Last Jam at Signature Theatre

Jelly's Last Jam, now running at Arlington, VA's Signature Theatre, has released footage from the production, which tells the story of one of jazz music's pioneers, Jelly Roll Morton. Jazz pianist Mark G. Meadows leads the cast in the title role alongside Tony winner Cleavant Derricks and Helen Hayes winner Felicia Boswell. The ensemble, helmed by Signature associate artistic director Matthew Gardiner, also includes Iyona Blake, Guy Lockard, VaShawn McIlwain, Nova Y. Payton, Kara-Tameika Watkins, and Eben Logan. Completing the ensemble is Chris Broughton, DeWitt Fleming, Olivia Russell, DeMoya Watson Brown, Joseph Monroe Webb, and Stephen Scott Wormley.
