Life inside a slaughterhouse comes to the Lincoln Center stage.
The LCT3 premiere of Abe Koogler's Kill Floor began performances at the Claire Tow Theater October 3 in advance of an October 19 opening.
Tony nominee Marin Ireland (Reasons to Be Pretty) leads the cast as Andy, who returns to her hometown after three years in prison. She takes a job at the local slaughterhouse while trying to reconcile with her 15-year-old son (Nicholas L. Ashe). The company also includes Jeremy Bobb, Natalie Gold, and Samuel H. Levine.
Directed by Lila Neugebauer, the play marks Koogler's playwriting debut. Take a look at photos of the cast in action on the Lincoln Center stage.
