Adlon will make her stage directing debut.
Emmy winner Pamela Adlon (Louie) will direct Animus Theatre Company's upcoming production of Collected Shorts by Theresa Rebeck. The production will run October 7-23 at the Cherry Lane Theatre.
The evening will include Rebeck's shorts The Bar Plays (Big Mistake; Drinking Problem; Speakeasy); Does This Woman Have a Name?; Funeral Play; and Katie and Frank. Casting will be announced.
Adlon makes her stage directing debut with the production. She received an Emmy Award in 2002 for voicing the role of Bobby Hill on King of the Hill and also starred as Marcy Runkle on Californication and Pamela on Louie. Her latest television series, '"Better Things'', premieres September 8 on FX.
