The Broadway League celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a Viva Broadway outdoor concert in Duffy Square on Tuesday, September 25. The concert was hosted by Bianca Marroquin (Chicago).
The program included performances by Marroquin, Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton), Ana Villafañe (Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties), Kathryn Allison (Aladdin), Ashley De La Rosa (Mean Girls), and Enrique Segura (The Lion King). Appearances were made by Tony winner Sergio Trujillo, Luis Miranda, and Charlotte St. Martin. Check out photos from the concert in the gallery below.
Viva Broadway is an audience development partnership with the Hispanic community to help bridge the world of Broadway with Latino audiences around the country. The long-term initiative aims to increase awareness about Broadway while culturally enriching lives, bringing families together, and building new careers in the theater.
