Roundabout Theatre Company's production of On the Exhale celebrated opening night on Sunday, February 19, and the company was on hand to celebrate. Marin Ireland stars in this solo show from playwright Martín Zimmerman under the direction of Leigh Silverman. Performances continue through April 2.

On the Exhale's plot is described as follows: "When a senseless act of violence changes her life forever, a liberal college professor finds herself inexplicably drawn to the very weapon used to perpetrate the crime — and to the irresistible feeling of power that comes from holding life and death in her hands."

Roundabout Underground is an initiative to showcase new plays that will either give a debut production to an emerging writer or director, or allow an experienced director to go back to his or her creative roots. Robyn Goodman serves as artistic producer, with associate producers Jill Rafson and Josh Fiedler.
