Mark Aldrich, Ryan Duncan, Dee Roscioli, et al. Set for Liberty: A Monumental New Musical Presentations

Casting has been announced for a trio of presentations of Liberty: A Monumental New Musical, to be offered in celebration of Immigrant Heritage Week on April 16 at 11am and 3pm and April 17 at 2pm at the new 42nd Street Studios. Igor Goldin will direct the performances, which will feature musical direction by Jeffrey Lodin and choreography by Jeffry Denman.

The show, with a book and lyrics by Dana Leslie Goldstein and music by Jon Goldstein, follows the history of the statuesque French immigrant who arrived in New York Harbor in 1884. The company will star Dee Roscioli in the central role along with Mark Aldrich (Bartholdi, O’Dublin & Pulitzer), Ryan Duncan (James Goodleaf), Suzanne Grodner (Moscowitz), Lewis Grosso (Giovanni), Leah Horowitz (Emma Lazarus), C. Mingo Long (Samuel Ferguson), Beth McVey (Regina Schuyler), and Adam Monley (Walker).

The creative team includes Bryan Crook (orchestrations), Josh Zangen (scenic design), Olivera Gajic (costume design), Paul Miller (lighting design), and Austin Switser (projection design).
