Tony Award winner Simon Stephens’ new off-Broadway play adds performances to its limited engagement.
The world premiere of Simon Stephens' two-hander Heisenberg has extended its run by two weeks at New York City Center – Stage II. The play will now offer performances through July 11.
Directed by Mark Brokaw, Heisenberg follows a woman who kisses an older man at a London train station, resulting in life-changing consequences. Tony and Emmy winner Mary-Louise Parker stars opposite Denis Arndt. The production began performances May 19 in advance of a June 3 opening.
The creative team for Heisenberg includes Mark Wendland (scenic design), Michael Krass (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), and David Van Tieghem (original music & sound design).
Stephens is currently represented on Broadway by the 2015 Tony Award-winning Best Play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. His other works also include Punk Rock, Bluebird, and Harper Regan.
