Meet Merritt Wever, Peter Friedman, and the Cast of MCC Theater's The Nether

The cast members of Jennifer Haley's The Nether met the press at their rehearsal studio on January 9. Directed by Anne Kauffman, the MCC Theater production at the Lucille Lortel Theatre stars Emmy Award winner Merritt Wever as a young detective who begins an investigation into the complicated morality of the digital world's newest frontier: a virtual playground where people can be coaxed into acting out their darkest fantasies, with no "real world" consequences. The company also includes Tony winner Frank Wood, Tony nominee Peter Friedman, Ben Rosenfield, and Sophia Anne Caruso.

Performances of The Nether will begin on February 4 and run through March 15. Opening night is set for February 24.
